Very Random post!

Autumn's birthday is on Saturday so last night we took Autumn to target to show us what she might want for her birthday. (Funny side note we always run into someone from church at Target) So as we were looking around at all the crafts stuff and toys etc Autumn said she liked a lot of different things but nothing was I GOTTA HAVE it kind of excitement. We had plans on going to Chili's for dessert and we started chatting about last years birthday and what she wanted. Last year she went to Six Flags. So this year I think we decided that we would go to Hurricane harbor. She will go on her trip with just daddy. It is a special time for them! My in laws are coming up this weekend to spend Autumn's birthday with her and so Zackary is coming up also! I got the sweetest text from him the other day and he asked me if he could do some work around the house to make 50.00 to take Autumn on a mini shopping spree. His plans are to take her to get her nails done, go buy her a few outfits and take her to Starbucks for a drink. Kind of like a mini date with her brother!!! Zackary has never really connected with Autumn as she has gotten older so this is HUGE for him to Initiate this ...... It is going to be a SURPRISE for her!!! I gotta say I love that she is not materialistic and she doesn't want a lot of things since we love to have experiences over toys!

I went to alanta for 3 days to a Childrens/ Youth/ Pastors church confrence! It was so much fun and such a learning time! I am excited to implement a few things. My kiddos were so excited to have me home!

A couple of weeks ago my car got rear ended and it had 4000 worth of damage :( So we needed to get a new car. We test drove and negotiated a lot. We finally decided on a SUV Chevy Equinox , I gotta say I love it it is all leather, and just a great SUV. It has a few really cool features and I think my favorite as well as the kids is the Auto Start feature!

Riley is a hott each and every day. but for now I gotta take my girlie to school and get Riley up for school :)

Cool things going on!

First Zackary was asked to take the DUKE TIP Test (It is and ACT Test and he is in 7th grade), the test is by invitation only!! He scored extremmely high on his TAKS test also. I couldn't be any more prouder of my sweet little boy!!! OK so he is a teen now but hey he is STILL my baby!!! He is doing awesome in school still has straight A's.

Autumn is doing great she is so sad that her 1st grade friends are not very nice. Poor girl. I feel kinda sad for her but am trying to teach her that she is able to be kind to people and not be run over.

The other night we had the privelage of going to the MAVS game with really good seats and we took the 2 babies. They loved it and afterwards we went to the Channel 8 News staition. Autumn got to talk to Pete Delkus she was so amazed that she got to be where they are doing the news!

We were driving down the road and she told Eli and I that she was going to build herself a PINK house (when she grew up) and have a PINK LIMO parked in her garage and all her furniture would be PINK as well. Do you want to guess what her favorite color is HA!

Riley is loving preschool although he always tells me he doesn't like it! He is just a boogger! He can do most of the things they had asked him on his progress report that he got! For his birthday he told me he wants a TOOL BOX from Sears (The big red one) and for his 6th birthday he wants a Welding torch REALLY I am amazed at this little boy. Just now he told me for his birthday he wanted to go to SEARS (don't most little boys who are 5 want to go to the Toy Store??) Eli went and picked him up a small gift for Christmas and he got the boy a Tool Belt and a new hammer.

We were blessed to be able to go to the Extreme Home Makeover Site this past weekend and the Kids were amazed! We were going to do the Reveal Day (Yes I was taking the out of school early to go) and we decided the morning of that it was TOOOOOOO cold to stand out there that long!!

Tonight we have been blessed again to be able to take the kids to the Dallas Symphony The kids should have fun! They love to be conducters themselves so it should be interesting what tomorrow holds :)

This morning on our way out (Riley and I) he told me we need to hurry and find a dog cause our cat is boring!

At T-ball practice today he climbed out of the car (Like they do on Dukes of Hazard) and I told him that we do not do that Do you know what he said?????? "I am just trying to show off Mom" Really what 4 year old tells you that????

He is one FUNNY Kid!

Autumn is such a sweety at school I went and had lunch with her at her school (the 1st time this year so far) and I took her Rosas. She was so excited that I came to eat with her. She gets to choose one friend to sit with us!

Broken Heart

I have a broken Heart sometimes Life doesn't seem fair. There is a little girl at Autumn's school that is Autumn's age and she has a rare form of brain cancer that the tumor weaves through the brain stem. She was diagnosed last year and has been undergoing chemo. Well the tumor has not shrunk but has grown a bit. It is inoperable. So she is off to Houston for 6-8 weeks away from her brothers and Sister and her home. Anyways so she leaves this weekend to go to Houston to figure out the treatment plan and all that. We have kept in touch with their family and have been praying and chatting with teachers at school about her. So we have decide since she will be in Houston and her treatment only takes a couple hours each day she will not have much more to do she can't be around a lot of people as her imune system is comprimised. So today we stopped by her house and gave her her goody basket we put together for her. She is the SWEETEST girl and has the sweetest family. Right after her diagnosis last year they went and took family pictures all together before she lost all her hair and all the other side effects chemo can have. Anyways it really just seems UNFAIR that a 7 year old innocent child has this kind of disease........ They do have INCREDIBLE faith in our BIG BIG GOD but still it is hard and stressful on their family. It isa just unreal SHE IS autumn's age.
